Film festivals have always been about more than films. They are places where people gather around a shared love for cinema. Film buffs, filmmakers, critics, students, and industry veterans come together to discuss craft, debate perspectives, discover new voices, and celebrate storytelling.

To revive MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, we looked to its greatest strength: the city and its people. Mumbai is not just the host of the festival; it is a melting pot of people, cultures, and aspirations. A city at the heart of Indian cinema, opening its doors to stories from around the world.

The identity reflects this idea through two forward-looking figures, symbolising people coming together to shape the future of cinema. Paired with a vibrant visual language inspired by Mumbai’s diverse and eclectic energy, the result is a brand that feels culturally alive.
