Leveraging the ‘recycling’ story

As builders to the nation, Godrej Construction is on a mission to rebuild infrastructure with minimum ecological footprint. The construction industry in Mumbai itself generates 1500 tonnes of concrete waste in a day. With a lack of space, overflowing landfills and inadequate disposal methods, this poses a serious environmental threat for the city.

Tuff Recycled Blocks and Pavers are manufactured using concrete debris that goes to the landfills. Weatherproof, versatile, and three times stronger than conventional clay bricks, these blocks and pavers result in zero wastage and cost-efficiency.

Design Stack created a campaign to launch Tuff Recycled Blocks and Pavers. In an industry that comprises of developers, construction consultants and architects, there is a deficit of trust when it comes to construction materials providers.

Inspired by and derived from the universally-recognised symbol of Recycling, the Tuff Trust-Mark stands for Godrej Construction’s focus on sustainability. It highlights the two core elements of every Tuff Recycled Block and Paver; not only that it is recycled, but also strong and durable.

The whole process of recycling holds a powerful message in itself and creates a context for the communication. Recover-Recycle-Rebuild is our simple, but clear illustration of the process of recycling concrete to rebuild a greener future.
