Edutones is a guide and tool that offers educators the opportunity to enhance environments with colours and finishes, combining aesthetics and functionality to create a positive atmosphere that aids learning. The physics of colour, its relationship with light, and its varying impact on different age groups and physical spaces gave birth to specially-curated themes and moods. We recommended that educators examine the purpose of every space in the learning environment – building exteriors, classrooms, administrative areas, common areas and learning hubs – and explore the combinations of themes and moods that result in interesting, exciting, and stimulating spaces.
